Resin Research 2000 CE Ultra is a premium epoxy system formulated specifically for white surfboards and white EPS laminations. Its distinctive blue resin color and Ultra optical brightening technology work together to enhance the natural whiteness of EPS foam, producing an exceptionally bright finished laminate with a subtle cool-blue cast.

The optical brightening technology works with the resin's UV-stable epoxy formulation to change the way light interacts with the finished laminate. CE Ultra vs. XBP Ultra

Both CE Ultra and XBP Ultra are designed to make white surfboards look brighter, but they give the finished board a slightly different appearance.

2000 CE Ultra produces a bright white finish with a subtle cool-blue cast.

2000 XBP Ultra produces a bright white appearance without the additional blue tone.

Choose CE Ultra if you prefer a cooler, blue-enhanced white. Choose XBP Ultra if you want a more neutral, clean white.

Not for Color Work

2000 CE Ultra is specifically formulated for white surfboards. Because of its optical brightening package, it is not recommended for color work, airbrushed designs, wood laminations, carbon fiber, or applications where the underlying color needs to remain completely neutral.

For those applications, we recommend Resin Research 2000 Clear Epoxy Resin.

2100S Slow
Approximately 30-minute pot life and 4-hour flip time. Ideal for larger laminations, warmer shop conditions, or when you want additional working time.

2100F Fast
Approximately 20-minute pot life and 2-hour flip time. A great choice when you want to keep production moving.

Actual working and cure times will vary with temperature, batch size, and shop conditions.
